A correction's essentials

For a correction to a page, the useful starting points are the page path, the sentence at issue and the publication or label that supports the correction. A participant count, the name of an outcome or a missing qualification can change the meaning of a paragraph.

The inference deserves scrutiny, too: perhaps a passage has travelled from a measured change in weight to a claim about wellbeing, or from a particular diagnosis to a broader group. The number can be right while the conclusion has gone too far.
